During an interview with the UFC’s Megan Olivi three months ago, coinciding with the start of TUF 31, Conor McGregor dropped a bombshell. He openly shared that he had already accumulated a substantial $650 million in earnings throughout his career at that juncture.

What’s even more astonishing, McGregor boldly expressed his aspiration to reach the highly coveted $1 billion milestone in the relatively near future. He stated, “It’s motivating, obviously Michael Jordan is at the top spot with the Jordan brand took him there, he’s worth multiple billions, 3.3 I think he’s made. I’m closing in on a billion now, I think I’m at about 650 million all in I’ve made.” (10:16 onwards)

Although Conor McGregor is often associated with his extravagant lifestyle and extravagant expenditures, he initially gained fame through his relentless work ethic and unwavering commitment. He achieved a groundbreaking feat in UFC history by becoming the first fighter to simultaneously hold two championship belts.

Consequently, both financially and in terms of popularity, McGregor has reaped the rewards, solidifying his status as the company’s biggest draw and, as a result, earning millions.

With his impending return to the UFC, either in December of this year or in 2024, it’s safe to anticipate that McGregor will continue to amass substantial earnings from his appearances. This comeback could indeed mark a significant step toward his goal of becoming a billionaire.
