Conor McGregor vs Michael Chandler: UFC News: Conor McGregor will take on Michael Chandler upon returning to the UFC cage, but prior to that, the two compete as coaches in the upcoming episode of TUF 31. However, the future UFC clash between McGregor and Chandler is what seems to have excited the fans the most. That said, the lightweight stars will compete at 170 lbs (welterweight). Both Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler have suffered their latest losses to Dustin Poirier at 155 lbs. For a change, the two would move up and lock horns in what can be an epic slugfest between two violent strikers.

In a chat with Bussin with the Boys, Chandler said, “The fight will be at 170lb that is true,”

Conor McGregor has previously fought Nate Diaz (2X) and Donald Cerrone at 170 lbs. He is 2-1 as a UFC welterweight and, with a legitimate weight and reach advantage over Chandler, McGregor can have some serious advantage in the bout.
