Conor McGregor is rumored to be making his UFC comeback this year. Despite doubts surrounding his ability to compete this year, McGregor has revealed his return. In a recent exchange with a fan, McGregor hinted at a possible fight against Michael Chandler in December, suggesting that the UFC is interested in adding this matchup to the December Card.

Last month, McGregor was due to register with the anti-doping agency in order to compete in the UFC octagon. Unfortunately, he failed to do so, which raised doubts about his UFC return. Many fans considered McGregor vs Chandler to be scrapped. However, there are chances of McGregor’s possible return end of the year despite missing registering himself in the USADA.
Recently, UFC President Dana White made a bold statement on the former UFC lightweight champion’s UFC comeback. In an interview with TSN, White hinted at McGregor’s return by the end of the year, even though he is not currently registered with the USADA. Additionally, White mentioned that the USADA guidelines may not be a determining factor if a matchup between McGregor and Chandler is proposed.

Conor McGregor continued to mock Michael Chandler through social media with the recent losses in the TUF 31. Recently, he tweeted a couple of pictures from the TUF 31, where he pushed Chandler during their short altercation. Precisely, he called Chandler an “idiot sandwich”.
Currently, Chandler and McGregor are in a feud on the Ultimate Fighter season 31. After losing 6 consecutive fighters, McGregor is upset on his TUF 31 journey. Until now, Michael Chandler’s 6 fighters scored big wins against Team McGregor with a 6-0 score. With the constant losses, fans have doubted McGregor’s coaching capabilty.
