“Conor McGregor will likely be coming back in December of this year – it isn’t clear against who or at what weight, but it seems certain that he’s fighting on the last PPV of the year” (per MaineventNL)

UFC has already scheduled two big PPVs for the October and November card featuring the UFC lightweight title and UFC heavyweight title in the main event. That being said, it is possible UFC President Dana White could add Conor McGregor back into the main event picture. Some potential opponents, such as Justin Gaethje, Michael Chandler, and Dustin Poirer, would challenge McGregor on his return.

Justin Gaethje takes a shot at Conor McGregor, Calls him a “Cheater”

At UFC 291, Justin Gaethje shocked the MMA world with a mind-blowing victory over Diamond Dustin Poirier. The two lightweights faced each other in the main event of UFC 291 for the BMF title in a 5-round championship bout. To everyone’s surprise, Gaethje knocked out Poirier with a leg kick to become the new BMF Champion.

Following the UFC 291 event, Gaethje took a shot at Conor McGregor when asked about a fight with him. He called the Notorious being on steroids, who has been away from the octagon for a long time and doesn’t wanna fight someone on steroids.

“I’m not going to fight someone on steroids. I’ve never taken steroids in my life and never will. Well, maybe when I retire, I might. But I’ve never taken steroids in my life and I don’t want to fight someone who is cheating. I probably shouldn’t even say that if I want the fight, but it’s the truth.”

What do you think of Justin Gaethje vs Conor McGregor at the end of this year? Let us know in the comments.
