Balenciaga Gate controversy
The advertisement depicting two young girls holding teddy bears while dressed in bondage-inspired attire is the main point of contention. The advertising has received negative feedback from the public, and Kim Kardashian, a frequent Balenciaga partner, has also spoken out against it.
Balenciaga, a Spanish luxury clothing company, has come under fire for its most recent Spring/Summer 2023 collection, which included two children posing with teddy bears decked out in BDSM-style bondage attire. The two young children were seen in several campaign photos standing on beds, and one of the images purportedly included court papers from a case of child sex assault.
EX-UFC Fighter Tweets against Balenciaga designer
After eight matches with the organization starting in October 2010, former welterweight title contender Jake Shields has been dismissed by the promotion. Shields targetted Lotto Volkova, the head designer for Balenciaga and Adidas.
