Having suffered a KO loss to Magomed Ankalaev in his last UFC outing, Anthony Smith is yet to announce his return officially. Meanwhile, ‘Lionheart’ recently connected with Michael Bisping on ‘Believe Me Podcast’ to address several things. When asked about Andrew Tate’s opinion on Jiu-Jitsu, Smith couldn’t hold himself from challenging ‘Top G’.

The UFC fighter said, “I don’t think he was all the way wrong [about his comments on jiu-jitsu]… If you’re with multiple attackers, then jiu-jitsu in and of itself is a slippery slope. That’s going to be tough if that’s all you know or that’s all you’re allowed to use… I’ll make you a deal. If Andrew Tate wants to have a competition, you’ll be able to bite, you’ll be able to scratch, and you can even have a knife, and it’s just me and you and we’re in a room and all I can use is jiu-jitsu and all you can do is kickbox, I’m leaving that room with whatever was in your pockets, one hundred percent.”

Andrew Tate is a four-time kickboxing world champion. However, he has been away from the fight world for several years. Tate’s transition from kickboxing to entrepreneurship fetched him generational wealth. Besides, his bold comments on controversial issues have made him a known personality all over.

He doesn’t need to return to fighting for money. However, if he does, Anthony Smith might not be the one to welcome him back into action. Smith is currently contracted to the UFC and Andrew Tate can explore bigger money fights than ‘Lionheart’.

Will Andrew Tate return to fighting?

Tate has been feuding with Internet personalities like Logan Paul, KSI, and Jake Paul for quite some time now. KSI even called out Andrew Tate after knocking out Swarmz and Luis Pineda in one night. That said, Jake Paul and Andrew Tate recently faced off against each other, validating a potential super fight between themselves.

However, none of these have come to fruition. Andrew Tate snubbed the chances of facing Jake Paul and cited that it’s a tough fight to negotiate. Hence, ‘Top G’ doesn’t look likely to embrace pro-combat sports anytime soon, although he claims to train daily.
