Dillon Danis Shared his Retirement Plan

Dillon Danis has recently entered free agency after separating from Bellator. In response, UFC athletes like Alex Pereira and Sean O’Malley have conveyed their interest in witnessing his potential move to the UFC.

Alex Pereira Said “He’s a very talented kid. We had two sessions. He’s a great guy.” And Sean O’Malley Said “I wanna see it,” “Give him one fight, give him whoever you wanna give him. He loses – that guy, whoever beats him, you’ve got a name…I’d like to see him in the UFC. Give him someone on a Pay-Per-View.”

In a recent conversation with Ariel Helwani, Dillon Danis stated that if the UFC doesn’t sign him, he plans to retire and take it easy, mentioning, “if they don’t do it then i am gonna retire and i can just chill.” Helwani inquired about Danis’ interest in other MMA organizations such as PFL and ONE Championship, to which Danis expressed a lack of enthusiasm for alternative promotions.

With no official confirmation from the UFC regarding Danis joining their roster and uncertainty about the timeline, Danis is currently a free agent, specifically eyeing a UFC contract and not considering fights with any other organizations.

Indeed, everyone, from Alex Pereira and Sean O’Malley to Ariel Helwani, wants to see Danis inside the octagon. Given his ability to sell the fight, it will undoubtedly be exciting for fight fans as well.
