Things heat up at the Bantamweight Division: Aljamain Sterling currently sits at the top of the Bantamweight Division with the Bantamweight title and two consecutive victories over Petr Yan, although one of them came because of disqualification.
Petr Yan is still the number one ranked Bantamweight in the world and Marlon Vera who joined the top 5 recently with his win over Rob Font. According to Vera and Yan, UFC were planning their clash in August.

Although the bout would most probably postponed or replaced because Yan has backed out of the fight for now and asked the fight to be moved to September or October, when he believes to be in the perfect condition for the fight.
This resulted in a heated twitter war after Chito tweeted that “Yan b**** out of the fight”, to which he responded by saying “If you want to fight the best you gotta wait till September/October, but if you want to just to be ufc’s b**** and fill out the spot in August you can fuck off and don’t waste my time”
