Francis Ngannou looks back at his UFC win over Gane
On Twitter, Francis Ngannou posted a photo from his last fight with Ciryl Gane and the message, “On This Day. #ANDSTILL.” Ngannou and Gane squared off at UFC 270 to unify the heavyweight championship one year ago today. The Honda Center in Anaheim, California, hosted the event.

Ngannou defeated “Bon Gamin” by unanimous judgment. He secured takedowns and had the interim heavyweight champion under control on the ground to recover from losing the first and second rounds.
With his first title defense, Ngannou’s winning run reached six games. He had knee surgery after the match, which prevented him from playing for the rest of the year.
UFC News round up: Conor McGregor hails Jose Aldo’s HOF induction
Conor McGregor congratulated Jose Aldo on his induction into the UFC Hall of Fame. Before their fight for the featherweight title in December 2015, McGregor and Aldo were fierce rivals in the UFC.
