UFC Fight Night 215: previous bouts of Derrick Lewis and Sergey Spivac

Derrick Lewis suffered a first-round TKO loss to Sergei Pavlovich at UFC 277 on July 30. Many people feel that the referee should not have stopped the fight so soon. The Black Beast, who Tai Tuivasa had previously defeated at UFC 271, suffered his second consecutive defeat. Lewis has lost three of his previous four fights, ending in stoppages.

Meanwhile, at UFC Vegas 59 last August 6th, Sergey Spivak defeated Augusto Sakai via second-round TKO. The victory was Spivak’s fifth in his past six fights and was the 27-year-old Moldovan’s second straight triumph. At UFC 272, Spivak defeated Sakai after taking just 136 seconds to finish Greg Hardy.
