VanZant has not fought since her defeat to Rachael Ostovich at BKFC 19 in 2021. And although she was set to fight Charisa Sigala at BKFC 27 in August of this year, BKFC postponed the fight, and VanZant is yet to get a date for her next fight. In the meantime, her inactivity in the ring has not stopped her from being active on social media.

The superstar fighter, who has over 3 million followers, took to Instagram to share two photos of her in a bikini. Unsurprisingly, the comments were full of compliments and positive messages for the former UFC fighter.
However, amidst all the compliments, some users also noticed that VanZant is not in the shape she used to be. One user commented, “I guess you’re not a fighter anymore,” another said, “your getting too big,” while another added, “someone’s been on the carbs.”
One user even tagged VanZant and asked, “Ummmmm @paigevanzant are you getting thiccer?,” while another used made a sly dig at her inactivity by saying, “Got a fighter tat but even Conor has a more recent win than she does.”
While we do not condone such comments towards anyone and don’t agree with them, it is clear to see some fans expressing their displeasure towards VanZant’s fitness.

Will Paige VanZant return to the ring?
At the moment, there is no update regarding VanZant’s return to the ring. VanZant previously said she was targeting a return in November against Sigala. However, there is no update about her return as yet and it is unlikely that she will return in December either. Thus, fans might have to wait until the next year to see her back in action.
There is also no update on whether VanZant is training for any fight. The last time she posted a training video was back in September. This could also explain why fans are pointing towards VanZant’s lowered fitness levels.
