In the UFC 283 co-main event on Saturday night in Rio de Janeiro, Moreno defeated Deiveson Figueiredo by doctor’s stoppage TKO at the end of the third round to reclaim the undisputed flyweight championship. Due to an eye injury, Figueiredo was deemed unable to continue.

Moreno delivered a powerful left hook in the third round, followed by what appeared to be an eye poke, but the referee allowed the contestants to continue. While Deiveson voiced his displeasure to the referee, Moreno pursued Figueiredo and ultimately regained the lead.
