During a recent media appearance, Dana White hailed the very same quality of the Brazilian and suggested that it’s never hard to negotiate with Charles Oliveira. While calling Oliveira a warrior, he said:
“Charles Oliveira is one of the greatest kids ever to deal with, you know. He’s an absolute warrior and a stud. Getting him to take fights is never hard. There’s never a hard negotiation. That kid is always ready to fight, he’s one of the best kids we’ve ever dealt with.”
It’s safe to say that Charles Oliveira is in the good books of Dana White for always being down to take on the toughest challenges and rightfully so. The level of competition that Oliveira has fought in his career and especially over the past two years is unrivaled.
As of now, Charles Oliveira is set to take on Islam Makhachev for the vacant UFC Lightweight title. While Makhachev has opened up as the favorite to win the bout, one shouldn’t underestimate Oliveira.
The Brazilian has been doubted throughout his career and has managed to out perform each and every single time. It will be interesting to see if he can do the same again on October 22nd at UFC 280.
