Sean O’Malley nearly faints at UFC 280 press Conference-Sean O’Malley vs Petr Yan is in talks to headline in UFC 280 planned to be held at Etihad Arena on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims expected on ESPN and ESPN+.

Suga in UFC 280 pres conference in London experienced a bizarre situation where he could have fainted in the conference hall

“At the press conference, I was like getting hot flashes,”  “The lights were so bright, dude. I legitimately for a second there was freaking out. Yeah, I thought I was going to pass out. It was so scary dude. It was so scary.

“I remember answering one question and was like ‘oh, f—k!’,”

“I almost wanted to get up and just walk off stage, but I don’t know if I could do that,” he said. “I think I played it off good enough. I was hearing the questions, but I couldn’t think like I wanted to answer them. But then it kind of went away, it was only a couple minute period.”

O’Malley (15-1 1 NC), one of the sport’s most promising prospects, lost his fight with Pedro Munhoz at UFC 276 due to a medical stoppage brought on by an eye poke that was later diagnosed as a corneal abrasion. The 27-year-old UFC fighter is 7-1 with one NC and competes out of Glendale, Arizona.

While, Petr Yan, 29, lost to Sterling in a rematch for the bantamweight championship at UFC 273 in April (16-3, 8-2 UFC). Since O’Malley hasn’t yet faced a striker of his caliber, his boxing will be a challenge for him because it ranks among the greatest in the sport.
