TSM YouTube hack: Popular esports organization loses its YouTube channel over crypto scam

On August 3, popular esports organization TSM lost its YouTube account as well as a major number of its videos after YouTube terminated the account. This came in light of the TSM YouTube account getting hacked by a bunch of crypto scammers who took over the account and began to stream crypto scams from the channel. TSM is not the only entity with a large follower base to lose its channel at the hands of crypto scammers in recent times.

Lately, a bunch of big YouTube and Twitch channels have been hacked by crypto scammers who simply hope to get a larger audience to showcase their content to. Popular entities like Fedmyster, Dellor, and EruptionFang got their channels hacked by such crypto hackers and have taken to social media to post about the same.

Popular Esports journalist, Jake Lucky, even took to his social media to post about the news, and fans came flooding in to share their opinion about the same.

As of now, it seems difficult for the organization to retrieve its channel from the loss. However, members of the organization have stated that YouTube is already helping them get back their account from the crypto hackers.

YouTube is assisting TSM to retrieve its account

According to TSM member Duncan, the popular Google platform is already helping the organization retrieve its account from the hands of the crypto hackers. However, things are not looking very bright for the organization as most of its videos got deleted when the channel got hacked.

It remains to be seen if the popular esports organization can get its channel back to normal. However, the repeated problem of big Twitch and YouTube channels getting hacked by crypto scammers still remains at large.
