After a long hiatus, Netflix has finally announced the release date for one of the most anticipated documentaries based on some of the finest matches between India vs Pakistan, coming just before the big ICC Champions Trophy. The documentary, The Greatest Rivalry, will premiere on Netflix on February 7 and showcase all the backstage drama before the matches, what happened, and how the India and Pakistan teams viewed this game as the ultimate showdown. It will cover everything, from pre-match talks among players to post-match scenes, all narrated by the players who were there, reliving the moment.

As mentioned, the idea for the show came to light a year ago, but it is finally all set for release. The documentary has been directed by Chandradev Bhagat and Stewart Sugg, who are ready to showcase their hard work to the public under the Grey Matter Entertainment banner. It will feature some of the greatest cricketing legends, such as Virender Sehwag, Sourav Ganguly, and newly retired from international cricket Ravichandran Ashwin also from Pakistan it is Shoaib Akhtar, Waqar Younis, Javed Miandad, and Inzamam-ul-Haq. They will narrate and take us back in time to when the thrilling matches created much entertainment among many cricket fans.
