India has historically been a dominant force in the SAFF competition. Eight times in all, they have won the contest; the most recent occurrence was in 2021. Eight teams will participate in the competition: Maldives, Kuwait, Lebanon, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal, and Pakistan.
The record-breaking eight-time champions of the contest, India, will host the 14th edition of the game in Bengaluru from June 21 to July 4. Four teams will be split into two groups for the eight-team SAFF Championship.

India has won eight of the competition’s 14 editions, making it the most successful nation ever. They defeated Nepal in the championship game in 2021, which was their most recent victory.
