Sangakkara applauds the McCoy and his SUPER-EXCEPTIONAL nature –
In a post shared on the RR Twitter handle, Kumar Sangakkara applauded the efforts of Obed McCoy despite having tough personal times and said, “McCoy’s mother has been quite ill in the West Indies and he’s had to deal with all of that and yet was focused and exceptional tonight.”
The West Indies star has been an unsung hero for the RR this season as he now has 11 wickets in the IPL 2022 in just six matches.
Despite having his mother in ill and critical situation, McCoy hasn’t been distracted and has given his best for the side.

- McCoy’s heroics on Friday saw RR through to the IPL final having beaten RCB.
- RR will next face GT in the final of the IPL 2022 at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Sunday.
- The high-voltage clash will see McCoy and company search for revenge as RR were beaten by GT in the Qualifier 1.
- If RR do manage to win the IPL, it will bring to an end their 14-year wait for the glory, having last won the title in 2008.
