According to local sources, the Punjab government demanded a sizeable quantity of money from the PCB in the form of security costs before the Lahore Qalandars vs Peshawar Zalmi match. The PCB may need to move the match to another location if the government does not cover the security costs. If the remaining games are shifted to Karachi, it may result in more losses for the PCB because the city’s stadiums have already been empty during matches on weekdays.
