Paris St Germain clinched a record-breaking 11th Ligue 1 title with one game to spare when they drew 1-1 at Racing Strasbourg on Saturday. The result put them on 85 points, four ahead of RC Lens, who secured second place with a 3-0 home victory against AC Ajaccio.

Lionel Messi gave the visitors the lead in the 59th minute of the game. Kevin Gameiro then went on to score in 79th minute to bring the hosts to parity, but a draw was enough for PSG to seal their name in the coveted trophy.

Messi will become a free agent when his contract with PSG ends on 30th June, he is yet to decide on his future. Messi has been linked with a potential return to Barcelona, but the Argentina skipper has been tight lipped about his next move.
