Amidst the debate, Pokimane exclaims why Ninja hasn’t cleared the air regarding his claims of texting his representative to reinstate Jidion on the purple platform after his permaban for hate raiding her.
Twitch star Pokimane listed out the sequence of events facing harassment and online trolls over the past couple of weeks. Starting with the hate raid launched by Jidion towards Pokimane and her community, it went to the extent where she received threats of legal actions from Ninja’s wife, Jessica over defamation.

Many big personalities from the streaming world came in to support Pokimane and raise their voice against misogyny. Soon landed Ninja’s now-deleted tweet where he responded to a Poki’s fan, where he claimed to clarify the divisive broadcast shortly thereafter. Pokimane later called out Ninja after he failed to put out a statement.
“I thought it was kind of interesting that Ninja was like, ‘Everything will be clarified,” she said during a January 19 stream.
“And then he woke up the next day and played Fortnite for 7 hours. And then he woke up the day after that, and is probably gonna play Fortnite for another 7 hours. So I’m like, were you gonna say something?”

“Ninja probably noticed, ‘Oh my god, Jidion’s viewers are the same people who watch me play Fortnite. I can’t upset them!’” she said. “‘I can’t stand up against misogyny. That could kill my brand!’ Or some s**t.”
Pokimane went ahead to speculate the reason behind Ninja’s deleted tweet and elaborated on the probable reason. “He’s afraid of the repercussions for standing up against hate raiding and misogyny,” she continued. “That’s the baseline, bro. The bar is on the ground, and you can’t step over it!”
Pokimane also opened up about the harassment she and her fans are still receiving on various social media platforms from Jidion’s community. Though she is facing huge support from her community, nevertheless, as many point out that she would be dragged into such debates as long as she is having a successful streaming career.
