Niantic teases New Pokemons for 2022: With the arrival of 2022, Pokemon GO trainers are excited about all the upcoming events in the game. The Season of Heritage event is already ongoing in Pokemon GO. Moreover, we already know about the different Raid bosses and Community Day highlights of January. Still, fans of Pokemon GO got a pleasant surprise this new year as they logged into their game.

Pokemon GO’s loading screen leaks possible new pokemons for the trainers

To celebrate the new year, Niantic added a brand new loading screen in the Pokemon Go game. The picture on this screen shows a trainer who is watching fireworks alongside several Pokemons like Growlithe, Raikou, Hoothoot, etc. While most of them have appeared in the game at least once, it is the presence of two new pokemons that have excited the community.

Both Helioptile and Flabebe are native to the Kalos region that first appeared in Pokemon X and Y. Helioptile is an Electric/Normal-type Pokemon that evolves into Helioisk with the use of a Sun Stone, while Flabebe is a Fairy-type Pokemon that eventually evolves into the powerful Fairy-type Pokemon Florges.

This loading screen can be a hint to future events where one or both of these two Pokemons can be made available for the trainers to catch. There are rumors that Helioptile can be added for the Electric-type event at the end of the month. On the other hand, many in the community are also speculating that Flabebe can become a part of the mysterious door that’s currently at the center of the Season of Heritage storyline.

The fireworks that appear in the night sky can be connected to Pokemon GO’s New Year event which will be active between 31st December at 10 PM local time to 4th January at 8 PM local time.
