Neymar was trying to move PSG forward when he got hurt, and he eventually left the field with his head in his hands. The South American stumbled on his right ankle while attempting to go around midfield and was visibly in pain as soon as he landed on the ground. He did obtain medical care, but it was shortly determined that he was unable to proceed.

The 31-year-old scored for PSG in their most recent Ligue 1 match, an exciting contest against Lille that took place at Parc des Princes. Yet after being taken off just six minutes into the second half, Neymar was unable to finish the match. Kylian Mbappe scored a fantastic goal in the 11th minute to start the scoring at Parc des Princes, and the no. 1 was the one who set it up. Six minutes later, he added another goal to make it 2-0 for Christophe Galtier’s team.
