Holger Rune leads first quarter
World No.9 Holger Rune is the only Top 10 player in the tournament this year. The 19-year olf is the top seed and he will lead the top quarter of the draws. He has been given a direct bye to the second round. He will begin his campaign by facing the winner between Marc Andre Huesler and wildcard entrant Luca van Assche.
Last year’s runner-up Alexander Bublik is present in th same quarter. He is the sixth seed and will face France’s Gregoire Barrere in teh first round. The other player in the draw is unseeded Nikoloz Basilashvili. He will be up against Constant Lestienne in the first round.
Borna Coric is the top seed in second quarter
Last year’s Cincinnati Masters winner Borna Coric is the highest seeded player in the second quarter. The Croatian has received a bye to the second round. He will face either a qualifier or Arthur Rinderknech in the second round.
Seventh seed Emil Ruusuvuori is the only other seeded player in the quarter. He will begin his campaign against unseeded Mikael Ymer. Maxime Cressy is also in this quarter and he will face a qualifier in the first round.
Spaniards Agut and Fokina headline third quarter
Spaniards Roberto Bautista Agut and Alejandro Davidocich Fokina lead the third quarter of the draws. While Agut is the fourth seed, Fokina finds himself as the fifth seed. Agut has received a bye to the second round. He is likely to face the winner between Richard Gasquet and Arthur Fils in his opening match of the tournament.
Fokina meanwhile will play in the first round. He will begin his campaign against wildcard entrant Ugo Humbert. Another Frenchman in uentin Halys is also part of the draw. He awaits a qualifier in his first round encounter.
Jannik Sinner in final quarter
Jannik Sinner, who is currently ranked World No.17 will headline the final quarter. He is the second see in the tournment and will begin his campaign from the second round. He will kickstart action in the event by facing the winner between Marton Fucsovics and a qualifer.
Benjamin Bonzi, who recently made it to the final in the Chennai Open atp 250 event earlier this year is the other seeded player in this quarter. The eighth seed will begin his campaign by facing Italian Lorenzo Sonego.
This quarter has other notable names like Aslan Karatsev and Filip Krajinovic. Both the players will be up against each other in the first round of the tournament.
