The 28-year-old athlete has recently signed a new “multi-year” contract with the PFL to participate in MMA, as stated in a joint announcement by Shields and the organization on Tuesday. Shields previously made her debut in the PFL back in 2021, where she had two appearances and achieved a record of 1-1. Her first MMA fight resulted in a victory by TKO.

Claressa Shields Signs With PFL

However, in her second appearance, Shields suffered a loss by split decision.
