Reports suggest that two teams are willing to break the bank to bring Leo Messi to Saudi. Al-Hilal (Riyadh) and Al-Itihad (Jeddah) are looking to offer 350 million euros per season to the Argentine in a bid to entice him to Saudi. It is rumored that they have also asked for some help from the government to make this massive offer. If this deal goes through, it will be the most expensive contract in the history of the sport.

Both clubs are sanctioned by FIFA until next summer at the moment due to irregularities in different operations. It is also suggested that Al-Hilal tried to get Cristiano Ronaldo onboard before Al-Nassr but couldn’t due to their sanctions.
