Kandy Falcons vs Jaffna Kings Qualifier 1: Under Wanindu Hasaranga’s captaincy, Kandy Falcons have topped the points table. The Falcons played eight matches in the league stages and lost just one game. As a result, cruised to the playoff.
Defending champions Jaffna Kings also displayed some excellent brand of cricket in the league stages. They defeated Colombo stars in their last group stage match. Colombo Stars vs Galle Gladiators, LPL 2022 Eliminator
The Eliminator of LPL 2022 will be played between Colombo Stars and Galle Gladiators. To note, both teams had lost their last group stage encounter. But they have progressed due to a better net run rate. Colombo Stars will be banking on the likes of Niroshan Dickwella and Dinesh Chandimal to come good at the all-important Eliminator clash.
