Argentina France Final LIVE – Will Messi get fit for the FINAL? Foot Mercato are reporting that Messi is experiencing discomfort in his hamstring. Although the news platform has reported that their is no chance that he can sit out of the FINAL.

Not only Messi but some of the other 1st line up players rested on Thursday. Papu Gomez is nursing a sprained ankle and remains a doubt for the final. Marcos Acuna and Gonzalo Montiel will return from suspension. But it is Messi that every Argentine is hanging their hopes on heading into the France game.
Squad players Angel Di Maria and Paulo Dybala – both of whom came on as second half substitutes against Croatia – were present at training.
Though he missed training, Messi was spotted spending time with his family. Messi has already confirmed that the FIFA 2022 Finals will be his last appearance with the National team at the World Cup.
However, the ever-family guy took to social media to post a wonderful picture, where the Argentine skipper was seen spending valuable time with his beloved family.
The 35-year-old is drawing curtains to his National team career as far as appearing in the FIFA World Cup is concerned. The talismanic skipper shone as Argentina powered their way through to reach the finals, beating Croatia 3-0 in the semifinals.
“I feel very happy, to be able to achieve this, to finish my World Cup journey by playing my last game in a final,” Messi told Argentine media outlet Diario Deportivo Ole.
The Barcelona legend has been in scintillating form for his country. He has contributied five goals and three assists in their six World Cup games.
This is Messi’s 5th World CUP and it seems talisman can deliver trophy which has eluded Argentina and him for such a long time.
He previously came closest eight years ago when Germany beat the South Americans in the 2014 final. Speaking after the win over Croatia, he said:
“I feel really good, I feel strong and ready to play each game.
“It’s not easy as we arrived tired but the group gained strength again and we played a strong game.
“I am enjoying this a lot. I feel very happy in this World Cup and I am able to help the squad.”
