Playing his first IPL season, Mayers has scored 297 runs in 8 matches which includes four fifties. The 30-year-old scored 54 in just 24 balls with 7 fours and 4 sixes before falling prey to Kagiso Rabada in the 6th over. LSG scored 74 in the Powerplay due to Mayers Mania.

It was Mayers’ innings that gave LSG early momentum and currently, Ayush Badoni and Marcus Stoinis are firing on all cylinders, cruising for LSG to post a mammoth total. Badoni and Stoinis have helped LSG maintain an excellent scoring rate. Badoni and Stoinis stitched a 50-run partnership in just 25 balls as LSG go past 150 in just 13 overs.

Notably, LSG faced a disappointing defeat in their previous fixture and is aiming to get back to winning ways.
