Jaipur Pink Panthers are aiming to lift their second Pro Kabaddi League title. The team maintained their consistency throughout the season and finished the league stages at the top of the points table. They are entering the contest after a dominant performance against Bengaluru Bulls in the semifinal. The team is also on a seven match unbeaten run.
They will be hoping that their top raider Arjun Deshwal will be in top form. Deshwal has 290 raid points from the season and leads the raid points tally. He didn’t had a good game in the semifinal as he managed just four raid points. He will look to get back to form in the important final.
Deshwal has had support in attack from the likes of V Ajith Kumar (94 raid points) and Rahul Chaudhari (71 raid points). Ajith Kumar was particularly impressive in the semifinal as he picked up 13 raid points. In defence, Ankush with 86 tackle points has been their best performer, while Sunil Kumar (59 tackle points) and Sahul Kumar (53 tackle points) have all made healthy contributions.

Puneri Paltan meanwhile are aiming to win their maiden Pro Kabaddi League title. The team has made it to the summit clash after defeating Tamil Thalaivas in the semifinal. Puneri Paltan finished the league stages at the second spot on the points table. They also won both their league games against Jaipur Pink Panthers this season and enter the final with confidence.
They however have injury concerns ahead of the final. Their lead raiders Aslam Inamdar and Mohit Goyat missed the semifinal. In their absence, Akash Shinde and Pankaj Mohite led the raiding department. Pankaj shined in that game as he picked up 13 raid points. It remains to be seen whether Aslam and Mohit will make it to the team in the final.
Their defence is led by skipper Fazel Atrachali. The Iranian has 53 tackle points. The likes of Sombir (35 tackle points), Abinesh Nadarajan and Sanket Sawant have 30 tackle points respectively. They will look to continue their good show one more time in the league.
