Jidion Twitch Ban: Twitch denied Jidion’s appeal to pull back the permaban on grounds of severe violation of guidelines – With big personalities embroiled in the Pokimane Jidion controversy, Twitch has cleared it’s stance on the same. After Twitch had upgraded Jidion’s original 14 days ban to a permaban, the streamer had appealed to revert his suspension on grounds of not repeating his mistakes. But Twitch has denied his proposal owing to violation of guidelines on such a scale as his.
Streamer Jidion who was verified on the platform just a day before launching the hate raid on Pokimane came out with a video apologizing for his actions and urging his fans to appeal to Twitch to free him from the permanent ban.

Moreover, his community continued to harass Pokimane and her viewers by shame-calling and hurling them with abusive slurs on various social media platforms. This gained the attention of the community who came in to support Pokimane and spoke against misogynist comments.

Jidion tried hard to get back his account by putting out regretful statements. However, despite his efforts, he was ultimately unsuccessful as Twitch has made it clear that it wouldn’t pull back the suspension.
Jidion took to Twitter on 19th January to share the screenshot of the mail he received from Twitch denying his ban appeal. As per Twitch, Jidion’s actions were too severe to warrant a ban appeal. “Your account is indefinitely suspended due to repeated or severe Terms of Service or Community Guidelines violations,” the notice read. “We do not unsuspend accounts for this level of abuse.”

Jidion posted the tweet, admitting,“It’s all my fault boys. I promise I’ll do better”. Still, some of his fans continued to harass Pokimane and replied to the tweet with “L+ratio”. However, Jidion urged his fans to stop shaming Pokimane and instead, behave sober.
For now, it appears Jidion has to accept the ban and move forward without bringing trouble upon him by abusing others.
