Who is Sai Sudharshan ?- Sai Sudharsan was the breakout star of Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) 2021, where he was the second-highest run-getter with 358 runs in eight innings at an average of 71.60 and strike rate of 143.77. Sai’s Lyca Kovai Kings was eliminated in the eliminator of the TNPL, but made enough name for himself to be given an opportunity by GT.
Sai Sudharsan comes from a sporting family – Sai Sudharsan comes from a strong sporting background as his father Bharadwaj is an athlete who represented India at the South Asian (SAF) Games, while his mother Usha Bharadwaj represented Tamil Nadu in volleyball. Sai’s innings included five fours and a six and he scored at a strike rate of 128. The 20-year-old has got starts in all his three previous games and today’s innings was the perfect opportunity for him to make a name for himself. Sai’s innings helped GT reach 143/8 in 20 overs and set a target of 144 for PBKS.
