Women’s T20 Challenge back: After a successful inaugural season, BCCI eventually decided to expand the tournament and add a third team in Velocity, led by Mithali Raj. Overall, the competition comprises of four matches – three league stage games and the final. Kaur’s Supernovas were the champions in the first two seasons, but Mandhana’s Trailblazers ended their uncontested dominance in 2020. The competition could not be held last season, since Mithali Raj & Co. were touring Australia for a bilateral series.
