IPL 2022: Shameful act by Gujarat Titans captain, Hardik Pandya abuses Mohammed Shami ON-CAMERA for a mistake in field
Hardik Pandya Abuses Shami – What was the incident all about? This incident occurred in the last ball of the 13th over of SRH’s innings. Chasing a total of 163, Kane Williamson’s team was cruising comfortably at 97/1 in the thirteenth over.
Gujarat were understandably desperate for a wicket and they almost got one when Pandya bowled a beamer to SRH batter Rahul Tripathi.
He played an upper-cut and the ball landed just in front of Shami who was fielding at third man. Shami lost the ball in air and GT Missed the opportunity to make a comeback in the match.
The GT skipper was not happy at all with Shami’s effort. He vented out his frustration and uttered abuses – which was clearly caught on camera.

Hardik also abused Sai Sudarshan: Shami’s incident was not the only one where Hardik was guilty of abusing his fellow teammates.
Besides that, Sai Sudarshan could not avoid the wrath of the captain either. He too got a scolding for poor fielding effort as GT lost their first match of the against after three consecutive wins.
After losing to SRH, Gujarat team now has slipped to No. 5 in the IPL Points Table.
