Keeping everything aside, the most iconic moment of the match was Glenn Maxwell’s single-handed stunner catch. Maxwell took an absolute belter of a catch of Sam Heazlett after the latter mistimed a shot of a Coulter-Nile delivery.
Instead of clearing the ropes, the ball gained altitude and landed a few yards outside the 30-yard circle where a backtracking Maxwell divided and caught the catch brilliantly with his single outstretched left hand.

Glenn Maxwell who is the skipper of the Melbourne Stars put up a good all-around performance in today’s game. He picked two important wickets and maintained an economy of 4.75. While batting as an opener he scored a quick 37 of just 30 deliveries.
With Just a couple of weeks remaining ahead of the IPL 2022 mega auction, RCB would be extremely happy to see one of their star players performing at such a level before the prestigious tournament. The IPL 2022 mega auction is scheduled to take place in Bangalore on 12th and 13th February while the tournament is tentatively scheduled to commence from 2nd April 2022.
