No IPL 2022 match washed out- Interestingly no IPL 2022 match has yet been washed out as the matches are played in the hot summer conditions of Mumbai and Pune.
The playoff rounds could be first to experience a wash out if rain gods aren’t kind.
What happens in case of Wash Out?
- If the match gets washed out, there is no reserve day because of tight IPL schedule.
- GT will directly qualify for the final, due to their superior league position.
- RR will then be dropped to the Qualifier 2 and will play the winner of Eliminator.
- In case if the Eliminator also gets washed out in Kolkata, LSG will advance to the Qualifier 2.
