“I haven’t bowled Karun Nair in a game, but he has the ability to put any kind of ball I throw to him at the nets. So, at the moment, I would say Karun Nair,” Boult told ESPNCricinfo during a question-and-answer session.

IPL 2022: Karun Nair only the second Indian batter to score a triple century
Nair became only the second Indian batter to score a triple-hundred when he scored 303 against England in 2016. But after that epic knock, the 30-year-old played only four more Test matches for India. However, the RR batter has an enviable first-class record as he has scored 5883 runs in 84 matches at an average of 49.43.
He has scored 15 hundreds and 27 fifties while predominately batting at the number five position. Although technically correct, Nair has missed out on being a regular member of the Test side.
IPL 2022: Karun Nair has played only two matches for RR
Meanwhile, Nair has only played only two matches for RR in the ongoing season of IPL. He played against KKR but could not make much of an impact as he was out for just 3. Against the Capitals, he did not get a chance to bat. With RR yet to play five league games, it remains to be seen if skipper Sanju Samson gives the right-hand batter another chance.
RR will next take on KKR on Monday, (May 02). They are currently placed third on the points table winning six and losing three.
