Ahmedabad & Lucknow IPL Team Name: The announcements by the two new IPL teams will not end with the names of signed players & captains. While Lucknow have officially named themselves as Lucknow Super Giants, one can expect Ahmedabad to follow suit soon.
How Lucknow will announce their NEW-NAME? The Lucknow franchise has asked the fans to give suggestions on the name for their team.
The activity started few weeks back and according to the available information, thousands of fans have suggested names for the team that will be led by KL Rahul in IPL 2022.
“We are absolutely thrilled to get great response from the fans. We have recieved very interesting suggestions from them. The name of the team will be unveiled soon”, informed Sanjeev Goenka, Promoter of the Lucknow IPL Team.
Lucknow IPL Team Name: The Lucknow team will be coached by Andy Flower this season & has finalized their 3 signings before the IPL Auctions. Besides KL Rahul (17 Crore), team owned by Sanjeev Goenka group has signed Marcus Stoinis (9.2 Cr) & Ravi Bishnoi (4 Cr).
The Lucknow team will unveil their name in a week’s time.
Ahmedabad IPL Team Name? Ahmedabad team has taken help of a professional agency to finalize their identity.
Ahmedabad wants name with GUJARATI HERITAGE & has already finalized Hardik Pandya as captain of the team.
The CVC backed team has hired a creative agency VECTOR to finalize their brand identity.
The agency according to the available information is working on finalizing the NAME of the team from Ahmedabad. The brief to the agency is that the name should gel well with CVC’s reputation, legacy and vision for the team.
The American firm has also hired a company by the name of RSB Insights & Analytics, which is collecting a number of suggestions from a sample of Gujaratis.
All these efforts will help them to ZERO down on the name of franchsie based out of Ahmedabad.
Ahmedabad IPL Team Name: The team backed by CVC Partners is also yet to make their presence felt on SOCIAL media platforms & will soon start engaging with fans on the same.
Like Lucknow, Ahmedabad has also released names of their 3 signings. Besides Hardik Pandya (15 Cr), Rashid Khan (15 Cr) & Shubman Gill (8 Cr) have got the contracts from Ahmedabad team.
The Gujarat based team has hired former Indian pacer Ashish Nehra as Director of Coaching & former India coach Gary Kirsten as their team mentor.
