However, Bumrah has silenced them all with a magical spell against KKR, where he picked up his first T20 fifer and registered figures of 4-1-10-5. He did not get any wicket in his first over but dismissed two crucial batters in his second over.
In the second delivery, he got the wicket of the dangerous Andre Russell, while an in-form Nitish Rana was dismissed in the fifth ball of the same over. While this over was special, Bumrah’s third over was certainly the highlight of his spell.

He dismissed Sheldon Jackson in the first ball, then got the wicket of Pat Cummins in the third ball and finally completed the demolition job by dismissing Sunil Narine in the fourth ball. On top of getting three wickets, it was also a maiden over as Bumrah registered his first fifer in IPL. Previously, he had plucked two four-wicket hauls, against Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Capitals.
Meanwhile, this was the fifth-best bowling figure in the history of IPL, behind spells from Alzarri Joseph, Sohail Tanvir, Adam Zampa and Anil Kumble.
