IPL 2021 – Shreyas Iyer Gets Emotional: A minute-long video posted by the blue brigade on social media brought out how the right-handed batsman emerged powerful by fighting his injury. The moment was both emotional and proud as the Indian player wore the Delhi jersey, which he has been wearing for six years now.
The 26-year old poured light on his feelings and said that it was very difficult for him to sit out and see other teammates play.
Shreyas Iyer, who had reached the Gulf Country on August 14, has had a head start compared to the rest of the team. He started his batting drills under coach Pravin Amre’s supervision in Dubai much early compared to the rest of his teammates.
Besides, time and again Iyer is seen fully engaged in other sports- tennis, football, volleyball and not just in cricket.
