KL Rahul hits the fastest fifty of T20 World Cup 2021: After bowling out Scotland for a mere total of 85 runs, India needed to chase down the target in 7.1 overs to surpass Afghanistan in NRR. In reply, Virat Kohli & Co. chased down the target in 6.3 overs with KL Rahul hitting the fastest fifty of the tournament in just 18 balls, including 6 fours and 3 sixes.
This is not the first time Athiya Shetty has been seen cheering for her rumored beau KL Rahul from the stands. The Bollywood actress was also seen in stands during India’s T20 World Cup opening clash against arch-rivals Pakistan.
Fourth Fastest Fifty in T20 World Cups: Meanwhile, KL Rahul on Friday became the fourth batsmen to hit the fastest fifties in T20 World Cups ever since the inaugural season in 2007. The fastest fifty in the T20 World Cup record is still held by former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh.
