IND vs AUS: Ahead of the World Test Championship Final 2023 (WTC Final 2023), Team India has hit the ground running at The Oval Stadium. Rohit Sharma and Co held their first practice session in London on Sunday with most of the squad members present in the stadium.
With usual training in the background, what captured the hearts and minds was Virat Kohli dazzling swagger and Ishan Kishan-Shubman Gill bromance.
King Kohli was spotted having an intense session in the nets. The India great was all padded-up and was smashing balls all over the park. Virat Kohli looked in great rhythm and composure ahead of the marquee match.
With his recent resurgence and assured 186 in the fourth Test against Australia in March, Virat Kohli is being viewed as the crucial component to India’s aspirations in the final.

Gill who is a sure-shot starter in India playing 11 for WTC Final was having a great time with Ishan Kishan in the Oval practice session. Both young players were calm, chill and were sharing a great laugh among themselves.
In the recent four-match battle for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, Shubman Gill was chosen for the final two Test matches. With a strong 128 in Ahmedabad, he furthered his case for a seat in the WTC Final.
The 23-year-old dazzled with 259 runs at an average of 51.8 in his Test debut in 2020 during India’s tour of Australia, but he has yet to establish a reliable spot at the top of the order.
Given that KL Rahul will not be participating in the WTC Final due to injury, this could be Gill’s chance to stand out in a match with a lot on the line.
While, Ishan Kishan is engaged in a direct battle with KS Bharat for a spot in playing XI. It is likely that Bharat will edge Kishan but if Oval provides great conditions for batting, Rahul Dravid and Team might go with Mumbai Indians batter then.
