Head on the back of a brilliant century in the fifth Ashes Test at Hobart, his second of the series, shot up seven places to be joint No.5 in the Test batting charts along with Rohit Sharma.

Former Indian Test skipper Virat Kohli also moved up two places to No.7 after his brilliant performance in challenging conditions in the third Test in Cape Town.
New Zealand stand-in skipper Tom Latham also broke into the top ten, after his double-century against Bangladesh in Christchurch.

In the bowling charts for Tests, South African pace spearhead Kagiso Rabada was the biggest gainer, moving up two spots to No.3.

ICC Test Rankings-Virat Kohli moves up to No 7: Ireland all-rounder Andy McBrine, who was in sizzling form during their historic ODI series victory against West Indies was the biggest gainer in the ODI player rankings for bowling. He shot up seventeen places to break into the top ten of the bowling charts. McBrine picked up 10 wickets in the three matches, as Ireland ran away with a 2-1 series victory.
