The Free Fire World Cup ak FFWC 2026 is set to bring together the world’s best Free Fire teams as part of the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2026. This year’s tournament moves to Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, France, after previously being held in Riyadh, and promises four days of intense battle royale action.
The tournament is scheduled to run from July 15 to July 18, 2026, with a prize pool of $1,000,000 USD, which is one of the reasons the total prize pool of the Esports World Cup stands at an all-time high of $75 million.
FFWC 2026 Complete Schedule
- Group Stage: July 15–16, 2026
- Survival Stage: July 17, 2026
- Grand Finals: July 18, 2026
FFWC 2026 Format
The 2026 edition expands the competition to 24 teams and introduces a three-stage format.
Group Stage (July 15–16)
- 24 teams divided into 2 groups of 12.
- Each group plays 12 matches.
- Top 4 teams from each group qualify directly for the Grand Finals.
- Teams finishing 5th to 10th advance to the Survival Stage.
- The bottom two teams in each group are eliminated.
Survival Stage (July 17)
- 12 teams compete across 10 matches.
- The top four teams qualify for the Grand Finals.
- Remaining teams are eliminated.
Grand Finals (July 18)
The Grand Finals will feature 12 teams competing under the Champion Rush format. Under this format:
- For teams to become champions, they must earn 80 points first.
- Once champions, teams must earn a Booyah in order to win the championship.
- In case none of the eligible teams wins within the 10 matches, the team with the most number of points will be declared the champion.
