The stage is all set for what promises to be one of the biggest explosions on the mobile gaming scene in 2026. Free Fire MAX Asia Invitational (FFMAI) is here in Spring 2026, under the slogan “Rise Through Fire.” 28 teams representing seven countries compete for continental dominance and part of the whopping $50,000 prize money. Free Fire MAX Asia Invitational 2026 South Asia Play-Ins
The tournament will start with the South Asia Play-Ins segment. Live streaming commences on May 8 at 6:30 PM IST via the official YouTube channel of Free Fire MAX Esports India. There will be 18 participating regional teams (India 8, Bangladesh 5, Pakistan 3, and Nepal 2). In three days of round-robin battle royale matches, only eight teams will make it to the next phase.

FFMAI 2026 The Main Event
The second phase of the battle becomes even more intense in the Main Event, as the winners of the South Asia Play-In will compete against 10 other invited teams, including 4 champions (FFMIC 2026 Spring Indian Champion) and 6 powerful teams of Southeast Asia. Only the 12 best out of 18 teams that will play over three days will be able to win the title.
FFMAI 2026 Grand Finals Will Follow Champion Rush
The tournament will conclude on May 17 with the “Champion Rush” format. The 12 leading teams will enter a grand finale where there will be no limit to the number of matches. Teams must battle their way to earn 80 points, at which point they will become “Match Point Eligible.”
