Get ready for a revamped Fortnite shopping experience! Leaks suggest a brand new “Billboard” feature is coming to the Item Shop alongside the highly anticipated Star Wars return. Check out more details about the leaks of Fortnite Item Shop change.
What is the Fortnite Item Shop: Billboard Feature?
Thanks to reliable leaker HYPEX, we have a hot tip about a dynamic “Billboard” coming to the Item Shop. This feature is rumored to showcase the latest and greatest cosmetic items after each item rotation, keeping you informed about all the fresh stuff you can snag.
Imagine a giant in-game sign highlighting the hottest new skins and outfits! This is basically Fortnite’s way of saying, “Look at this awesome new gear you can totally rock!” By putting these items front and center, they’re bound to grab your attention and maybe even convince you to add them to your collection.
When Can We Expect This Billboard?
While Epic Games hasn’t officially confirmed anything, players are buzzing about a potential May 3rd release date for the Billboard feature. This coincides perfectly with the kick-off of the Star Wars crossover event! The leaked design even mentions “Rebel Leia Organa” with a “VIEW OFFER” button, hinting at what the Billboard might showcase first.
Interestingly, HYPEX also revealed an earlier concept for the Billboard feature. This design, apparently scrapped in 2020, shows a massive billboard taking up most of the screen and highlighting a specific outfit. There was also a scroll option to view other items in the shop.
