Epic Games follows a trend when it comes to live events. The developers never roll out major live events on two consecutive Fortnite seasons. Since Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 already had a major live event, it is anticipated that the live event for Chapter 3 Season 3 won’t be that big. However, as of now, everything is mere speculation.

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3: Earthquakes around the corner
Fortnite leaker, Burnn recently sent ripples within the community with a leak that was found in the in-game files. The leaker revealed it to be a short audio clip. The audio narrates a surprising situation where probably the Scientist speaks about Zero Point Energy Shockwave. Loopers are notified that this is not the first time the shockwave is happening. The Scientist spills that the magnitude of the shockwave is recorded as 7.2.

This is quite pivotal as it closely resembles an earthquake situation in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3. Earthquakes were first introduced in Chapter 3 Season 1 and were removed as the season ended. However, with the recent audio file leak, gamers can surely expect it to return to the island.
So the question pops up as to how it may influence the game and bring forth a live event. Well, right now the Zero Point is underwater and is completely exposed. The Zero Point was previously guarded with some sort of structure. However, in Chapter 3 Season 3, it stands unguarded and exposed to attacks.
The instability of the Zero Point is compelling it to send shockwaves across the island. The Reality Tree is expanding with time. So far, loopers have not been able to understand its purpose. Whether it holds any malicious intent and can influence the change of lore is yet to be revealed.
A section of the community believes that the exposed Zero Point will continue sending shockwaves resulting in major changes on the island. Eventually, the Reality Tree would completely take over the map and hence, the live event will showcase how the lore transitions and who is behind all this.
