Epic Games recently released the v21.20 update for Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3. The update rolled out several changes to the island apart from teasing several items. Following the release of the recent update, data miners got hold of significant proof that teases a probable Fortnite x Dragon Ball Z collaboration event. Anime characters have already been released on the island with Naruto and his squad. Therefore, a collaboration with Dragon Ball Z seems to be very much on the cards. Fortnite has already featured several popular culture characters. However, Son Goku and his team are yet to be featured in the game. The rumors of the Fortnite x Dragon Ball Z collaboration were teased by data miner Hypex. The leaker revealed that there was a consumable item in the in-game files that resembled Capsule Corp from the anime series.

Once the game went live following the update, Hypex confirmed the collaboration, as the item called Stamina Capsule has been categorized as a collaboration item in the in-game file. Once the collaboration was confirmed, the community was eager to know about its probable release dates and the cosmetics that would come with it.
The Fortnite x Dragon Ball Z collab could happen around early August as the new movie releases on August 19th in the US & Canada.

Hypex pointed out that a new Dragon Ball Z movie is scheduled for release on August 19 in the US and Canada. Therefore, Epic Games can release the collaboration during the first week of August or just before the movie releases.
Dragon Ball Z has some of the most memorable characters in the Anime Kingdom. Those who have followed the series will recall the valor of Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, and Gohan. Cell and Freiza are two evil characters who go neck to neck with the heroes. Therefore, Epic Games has a lot of options to develop the skins for the Fortnite x Dragon Ball Z collaboration.
Fans have high hopes from the Goku skin since Epic Games can release a selectable style version. The community will be elated to get the various Super Saiyan styles. Epic Games can also add the legendary Kamehameha attack in the form of an emote.
