Red Bull seals Formula 1 Constructor Standings! Mercedes & Ferrari Battle for 2nd spot – Check Standings

Red Bull are at the top of the Formula 1 Constructor Standings with Mercedes hanging on to 2nd place. How do the others stack up? Read here.
Red Bull has dominated the 2023 Formula 1 Season. However, the battle behind them has been pretty tight throughout the field. Mercedes, Ferrari, McLaren, and Aston Martin are all fighting for best of the rest.

Formula 1 2023 has been dominated by 1 team: Red Bull. However, the fight behind them has been amazing. Mercedes, Ferrari, Aston Martin, and McLaren have all had the second-fastest car on some tracks. Here’s how the Formula 1 Constructor Standings look.

Red Bull

Red Bull deserve their own slot here because they have been in a league of their own in 2023. The Formula 1 Constructor Standings reflect that because they have already sealed the title. The RB19 has won all but one race this season.

The Chasing Pack

Mercedes is second in the Formula 1 Constructor Standings solely because of Lewis Hamilton’s consistency. Both he and George Russell have put the W14 in positions it shouldn’t be in, and given a tough fight.

Ferrari is hot on Mercedes’ heels as it seeks to regain the second spot behind Red Bull. Both their drivers are pretty evenly matched.

Aston Martin started the season as the second-fastest car. However, since then, they have been outdeveloped. Lance Stroll’s inconsistency has hurt them as they continue to slip further in the Formula 1 Constructor Standings.

McLaren started this year with arguably the second-slowest car. However, they’ve turned things around during the season and are catching Aston Martin at a rate of knots. With just 6 races to go, the race for 4th is on.

Alpine

Just like Red Bull, Alpine are in a league of their own, just not at the front. There have been flashes of brilliance but not enough to move forward. With big point gaps on either side of them, they will most probably finish 6th in the Formula 1 Constructor Standings.

The Back Markers

Such has been the competitiveness this season, that there is no genuine back-marker in Formula 1 2023.

Williams are surging, with Alex Albon at the helm. Despite Logan Sargeant’s ineffectiveness, they will look to consolidate their highest position in the Formula 1 Constructor Standings since 2017.

Haas have dropped off since last year. However, they will look to finish 8th again this year.

Alfa Romeo have been anonymous this season, both on track and off it. They will look to improve before Audi takes over.

Before Singapore, Alpha Tauri had more drivers than points. They look the most unsettled of all, and their position reflects it.
