Japanese GP Live: Max Verstappen looks to bounce back after shocking setback

Red Bull and Max Verstappen will look to resume their Formula 1 dominance at the Japanese GP as McLaren will try to challenge them.
Max Verstappen and Red Bull will look to put the Singapore GP behind them and return to winning ways at the Japanese GP.

Max Verstappen and Red Bull saw a lot of their Formula 1 streaks come to an end in Singapore. They had to resort to the backseat as Ferrari, Mercedes, and McLaren battled it out for the win. However, the World Champions will be raring to go at the Japanese GP. Max Verstappen has said Red Bull expect to be fast here again. Can they be challenged?

Teams to Look Out For

Red Bull and Max Verstappen are extremely high on this list. The last time Max Verstappen lost a race, he followed it up with a scintillating performance at Miami. He will be hurting after Singapore and will look to bring his A-game to the Japanese GP.

McLaren were extremely quick at Silverstone. Suzuka shares a lot of its characteristics. Moreover, McLaren have upgraded their car once again. Therefore, they will be hoping to be right up there with Max Verstappen and Red Bull at the Japanese GP.

Things to Look Out For

Sebastian Vettel has erected a lot of bee hotels at turn 2 in collaboration with Formula 1. The kerbs have also been painted yellow and black as a nod to this initiative. It will be fun to notice it as the drivers go through that corner at the Japanese GP.

Drivers to Look Out For

Carlos Sainz has been in red-hot form for Ferrari since the Formula 1 summer break. Lando Norris will be looking to make an impression at the Japanese GP. Meanwhile, Lewis Hamilton will look to continue his consistent run in 2023. If all these teams are competitive, we might see these drivers slugging it out once again.
